Before planning the narrative and concept of the music video we went through the lyrics to identify the mood throughout the video and exactly what the lyrics are portraying. Going through the lyrics, it can be seen that the song is written from the perspective of a person who has gone through a heartbreak, However, the main concern shown here is not the love interest leaving or a mutual, rather more of a one sided love. It is portrayed that only the protagonist fell in love while the other person was pretending. In addition, It is also indicated that the protagonist loved the love interest truly and was giving a lot in the relationship, This is indicated by the lyrics: "Call me on the phone at 3....". On the other hand another picture which can also be seen is that might be that the girl has simply moved on whereas the boy is still stuck in the past with her memories hence he says:" I am still your baby boy, I am stuck in 2013". In conclusion, It is clear that the mood is sad but nostalgic, the protagonist is going through a hard time and might see the his love interest as the antagonist as he says the love interest only pretended to love them.
