 After our winter break we took the screening test of our potential actors. For the lead male character we had a few in mind. One of them was Abdul Rehman Doraiz. Then we decided on a junior, an AS student Umer who had a lot of free time and was ready to act even if we had to reshoot for any reason. In addition he was very enthusiastic and showed excitement to work in the project so we casted him as our artist and actor. I will be inserting a picture of Umer: For the female actor, we didnt have to look much because our editor, Zara agreed to act for us.  We had an online zoom meeting in which we went through all the finalized plans and made little changes in the plans according to requirements and finalized budgeting and other related stuff and once again went over the storyboard as well as finalizing our locations and shooting dates.

 We decided to start shooting our project around/after the second week of January (Jan 10th-Jan 29th)  Since after the winter vacations every member will be available & we can easily schedule even if the weather is expected to be rainy or not suitable enough for lighting

The reason being that it was cheaper this way, Plus if we collectively bought those things it would have been hard to divide them equally after we were done with the portfolio. Thus, we have decide to rent the and divide the cost equally among us.

 In this meeting we decided our availability and weather of our chosen locations to decide when we will start the shooting. Our winter vacations are approaching so we decided to start shooting after them.

 As I was responsible for the costume and props planning, I directed the actors on what they should wear on the shoot days. I shared with them a mood board and according to it they showed me the options that they had, Then I chose their outfits according to each scene. For instance, in the scenes where the boy will be alone he will be wearing dull or  black. The reason I chose duller colors was because they connotates emptiness, depression and mourning. However when he is with the girl he is shown wearing white, this is because white symbolizes peace, perfection and beginnings and the character is shown to be happy and has pure in that colour. The girl will be shown to be wearing brighter clothes such as purple. The purple cardigan when she is with the boy will represent the light romantic energies, However the outfit will have bits of dark purple too which represents the girl's independence and the fact that she does not depend on their relationship for happiness.
